Parent Connection eager to expand

Dorrie Carolan and Donna DeLuca are two mothers who have been sorely affected by drug use.

Carolan’s eldest son, Brian, 28, died in 1999 of a prescription drug overdose after a decade of treatment and struggle with addiction.

DeLuca’s son, Christian, now 31, was spared death, but “was notorious” in the community during his decade-long battle with a heroin addiction, she said.
