Former Newtown Rotary President and local Legislative Councilman Joe Hemingway has come full circle in his relationship with The Newtown Parent Connection (NPC).
A long-time volunteer with the NPC board before departing to explore other service opportunities, Mr Hemingway was recently named the local human services nonprofit’s new board chairman according, to founder Dorrie Carolan.
Ms Carolan and Mr Hemingway recently met with The Newtown Bee and expressed hopeful anticipation for what is shaping up to be a busy year for the organization — both in terms of supporting local families and educating the entire community about preventing substance abuse and addiction.
